Additional Experience in:

CFD TECHNICAL ANALYST

Utilizing in-house CFD tools to server numerous engineering and industrial sectors by setting validated models to evaluate and optimize the system design and performance in various applications such as turbomachinery, internal combustion engines, Aerodynamics, and more.

Background Experience:

With 5 years experience as Sr. Technical engineer, Amr Emad has dealt with various industrial and business units in MENA region in various engineering aspects such as the steel and metal industries by investigating the cost reduction, using Finite Element and Finite Volume Solvers, of the manufacturing process due to large waste of both energy, material, and reworking processes (e.g. Metal forming and Extrusion cases). Also, he has achieved compliance between the International design codes in Oil & Gas industry and the Finite Element Solvers using Stresses in Pressurized vessels as a case study and showing it the World-class software technology conference held by Hexagon Corporate in USA.

On the other hand, Amr role as a CFD technical analyst has worked with American and European companies in developing high performance Internal combustion engines with zero emissions and high power to weight ratios. He dealt also with open source tools such as OpenFoam and Elmer. Moreover, being a developer for an in-house CFD code developed in automotive manufacturing using Fortran language a high-performance parallel solvers. Finally, Investigate the effects of compressibility on the 2-equations turbulence models being used in the industry such as k-epsilon turbulence model in both versions (Standard and Realizable ones).
